Update to Add to Basket
We are aware that there has been much frustration with the basket functionality on our website, where you are prompted to enter dates for each individual item you request. We have now improved this feature and we hope you will notice a huge improvement when you use now request resources from us.
In future, after logging in, you will be asked to enter the term you wish to request items for 'Please select the Year and Term you wish to order for'
This date will remain the same until you manually adjust it (if wishing to request a whole year’s resources in one go). Your current shopping dates will be shown at the bottom of the left margin. To change this, click on 'Change Year/Term'.
When you click the cart to add an item to the basket a small pop-up window will appear advising you that it has been added. Close this window and continue shopping on the same page.
We hope that this will go some way to improving the user experience whilst we continue working on the rest of the site.
