The BBC Sound Effects Library gives you a limitless resource of sound effects to compliment your school project or production. Meeting the highest industry standards, this collection offers a wide selection of effects recorded by the BBC’s own top engineers.

We hold the complete 40 CD set of the BBC’s effects library, which comprises a full compliment of:

Exterior Atmospheres, Household Atmospheres, Interior Backgrounds, Comedy, Fantasy, Humour, Communications, Water, Industry, Cars, Hospitals, Equestrian Events, Livestock, Agricultural Machinery, Horses, Dogs, Schools, Crowds, and more.

The Edit Suite will produce a cassette tape or CD with your choice of effects, specifically tailored to your project or production. Under our ERA licence your cassette tape or CD may only be used at your school in conjunction with your project or production, and must not be loaned to a third party.

All effects are copyright free to you, however, there is a small charge for production time. Prices on application to the Edit Suite.
